Get email alerts when a document is recorded
The County Recorder's free service emails you when a document is recorded under the names or parcel numbers you register, such as a deed, a lien or a mortgage. The County says it cannot promise to catch every document, and it will not stop someone from recording one. It tells you fast so you can act.
Register your parcel number and every way your name may be written. You have to confirm the email the County sends, or the alert never starts.
Got a call or letter offering cash for your lot?
Before you say yes to anything:
- You can take your time. You do not have to sign the day someone asks.
- Look up your lot and see your official County record first.
- Ask what the offer is based on, in writing.
- Have a lawyer you choose read any paper before you sign it.
- If you are behind on your mortgage, free HUD-approved counseling exists. Never pay anyone upfront to "save your home." See who to call.
Inherited land? Start here.
A lot of Westside land is still in the name of a parent or grandparent who has passed. Until that is sorted out, the family often cannot sell, borrow against, fix up, or build on it. Free help exists.

Clark County · Property tax cap
The 3% cap on your tax bill
Nevada limits how much your tax bill can rise each year: 3% for the home you live in, up to 8% for land, rentals and everything else. It limits increases, it is not a discount. If you live in the home, make sure the County has it marked as your primary residence.
City of Las Vegas · Repairs
Home repair programs
The City has programs for health and safety repairs, water leaks, larger rehab, and safety changes for owners 62 and older. Income limits apply.

On their own, most Westside owners cannot develop their lots. There is no construction money, no builder, and no company the City will sign a deal with. Together, with an experienced team, that can change.

No. The lookup, the guides and the call back are free and we do not charge for them. The programs listed here are run by the City, the County and Legal Aid, not by us.
Am I signing up for something if I fill out the form?
No. The form only asks for a call back. Nothing is binding, and nothing is being offered or sold.
